Bachelor’s in Analytical Chemistry at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). During the last academic year (2018-2019) she got the IkasIker scholarship to develop a research project entitled “Optimization of the loading and release processes of active principles in contact lenses for the treatment of glaucoma” in the FARMARTEM research group. In 2019-2020, she did the master in Environmental Contamination and Toxicology. Her master thesis, carried out in the IBeA group and supervised by Dr. Prieto and Dr. Zuloaga, consisted of the development of an analytical methodology for the simultaneous detection of antibiotics in soil. After the master, she got a research stuff contract in the Chemical Engineering Department (UPV/EHU) to work in the research project “Control and elimination of trihalomethanes (THMs) in water treatment plants and distribution networks (CETHAP)”. In January 2021, she got a PhD fellowship for the formation of research staff from the UPV/EHU to start her PhD at the IBeA research group.
