Savillex DST 1000 distillation system to obtain high purity acids
The ultra-low detection limits provided by the ICP-MS technique require the use of high purity acids for the preparation of standards and calibration curves, sample dilutions, and increasingly, even for the sample digestion. The acid reservoir is gently heated, generating high-purity acid vapors that condenses from the top of the vessel (condenser), accumulates in a channel that runs along the bottom of the vessel, and exits the system through a PFA tube into a PurillexTM PFA bottle. This process allows to achieve high purity acids at low cost.
