Licentiate (1995, Extraordinary Prize) and doctor in Dentistry (1999) by the UPV / EHU. Associate professor part time of the Degree in Dentistry, in the subjects Integrated Practice of the Adult and Implantology. He teaches the Postgraduate Course in Oral Implantology at the UPV / EHU.

Master in Public Health (1997), Specialist in Oral Damage Assessment (1998), Specialist in Oral Implantology (2003) by the UPV / EHU. Master's Degree in Clinical Trials (2011) and Master's Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention in Dentistry (2013) by the University of Seville. Continuous training specialized in endodontics, periodontics and microsurgery.

Speaker in multiple courses and national and international conferences. Professor and scientific collaborator of the Minimally Interventional Surgery Center (Cáceres). He has participated in the training of the professorship of the CIFP Nicolás Larburu (Barakaldo). Multiple scientific contributions (oral communications and posters) in national and international congresses. Co-author of four articles and a book chapter.

President of the dental section of the Bilbao Academy of Medical Sciences, member of the scientific commission of the Biscay College of Dentists.

He develops research work in the field of surgery, oral implantology, endodontics and anthropology.

He has developed several publications in the OpenCourseWare Project (OCW): open publication of university materials.
