GEIFI, being integrated by members of four departments of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) (Immunology, Microbiology and Parasitology, Nursing I, Estomatology and Applied Chemistry), has at its disposal five laboratories with basic equipment: biosafe cabinets, microscopes, scales, pH meter, refrigerators, cold room, orbital shakers, autoclaves, ELISA reader and washer, etc. We have a cell culture laboratory and equipment for molecular biology techniques, such as thermocycler for real time PCR and DNA electrophoresis and sequencing. Besides we have access to the animal facilities and other General Services of the UPV/EHU, such as Analytical and High Resolution Microscopy and sequencing.
