Project Summary: The Pyrenees have a powerful heritage wealth that is too often overshadowed by the large tourist centres, creating a real gap between territories with greater and lesser dynamism. The project responds to the need to have a formula for collaboration and networking between museum spaces and the partner entities themselves, to strengthen the innovative and sustainable management of the Cultural Heritage, Local Product and Territory trinomial. We are looking for an approach that links Heritage with the Local Product, to vindicate Ecology and to reinforce 'cross-border themes'. To increase the innovation effort throughout the territory, with the participation of university centres that provide knowledge and research. We propose centres for the dissemination of culture. We intend to continue and improve as far as possible the milestones achieved in previous editions, with a transfer of knowledge to new partners. The entities that will benefit from the project are, in addition to the partners, companies, cultural entities, entrepreneurs and in general the civil society of the Pyrenean territories. The fact of developing the planned actions in a collaborative way and within a cross-border Network, allows us to offer a multi-zonal approach, which shows the different realities of each partner and the ways of addressing common problems. The planned actions can be a reference for territorial intervention projects in disadvantaged areas. Actions are proposed to link very diverse local products and services in a context of innovative heritage valorisation, generating joint proposals to share means of dissemination and attraction of visitors, and also generating experiential and training proposals that allow going beyond the mere exhibition or interpretation of Heritage.

The PATRIM 4.0 project has been 65% co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg VI-A Spain-France-Andorra Programme (POCTEFA 2021-2027). The objective of POCTEFA is to strengthen the economic and social integration of the Spain-France-Andorra border area.
