Programme

The Faculty of Psychology has sufficient and suitable work spaces assigned to research, including offices, meeting rooms and classrooms and laboratories of various sizes. In addition, there is access to the services, classrooms and different work spaces located on the Gipuzkoa Campus of the UPV/EHU.

The Doctoral Program in Psychology also has several spaces assigned to research, including 4 specially equipped laboratories for research conducted in the areas of personality and psychological treatment, social psychology, behavioural science methodology and evolutionary psychology. There are also two other laboratories for animal learning and psychobiology, both within the general animal facility service (SGIKER) on the Gipuzkoa Campus of the Faculty of Psychology of the UPV/EHU (legal registration number: eu01ss), which are suitably equipped to perform experimental studies with laboratory animals (rats and mice) in the corresponding lines of research, as well as the human learning laboratory of the KORTA R&D&I Research Centre (premises loaned to the learning and memory research team).

The students on the doctoral program have access to the Gipuzkoa Campus Central Library, located in the Carlos Santamaría Building. This library houses the bibliographical collections of most of the centres on this Campus, including a large updated collection of books, journals and other bibliographical material, in both paper and electronic format, related to research topics in Psychology and other similar disciplines.
