Degree (2003) in Biochemistry and a Ph.D. (2008) from the UPV/EHU, where she has been a lecturer since 2009, teaching Physiotherapy Degree in the Faculty of Medicine and Nursing. She has a research career in synaptic plasticity associated with pathological pain in different animal models and her current line of research focuses on the study of sensorimotor neuroplasticity in patients with eating disorders, in patients with pain, and the general population. The main objective is to increase knowledge of the functioning and modulation of the body schema about the clinical characteristics of the patient. She has 2 six-year periods through the National Commission for Assessment of Research Activity (CNEAI).
