Mobility and stays
Every doctoral student has their own individual, personalised study plan, but they will all follow a common programme and will benefit from common services and procedures.
The programme comprises the following:
- 3-4 years of research activity;
- a training programme that is adapted to each individual case, and which unfolds in parallel with research activities, including compulsory activities in common, courses and tutorials that are individually selected for each doctoral student by their supervisor and approved by the MER DP’s academic commission;
- a public defence of the doctoral thesis.
The MER DP encourages students to pursue international theses, with research stays at universities in Europe and around the world, and following co-supervision agreements, particularly, but not exclusively, with the Universities of Bordeaux and Pau.
