Material resources
Participating universities ensure the development of all programmed training activities observing the criteria for universal accessibility and design for all, as it is currently done in all its aspects, be it academic, research and management.In addition, as detailed in the following paragraphs, facilities, classrooms and workspaces, laboratories, workshops and experimental spaces, libraries, computer rooms and calculation centres and scientific and technical equipment detailed in the corresponding section are fully suitable to ensure the development of the planned training activities, observing the criteria for universal accessibility and design for all.Research teams have appropriate work spaces for doctoral students to conduct their work in their research laboratories, and additionally, the offering universities have suitable classrooms, seminars and calculation centres for all activities planned under the doctoral programme.
The programme will have the teaching and research resources of the offering Departments and centres, including the teaching and research laboratories that these organisations have in addition to the corresponding instrumentation and licenses. In addition, offering universities also make available libraries and reading rooms at the centres where students will receive their training. As evidenced by the years of existence of the Doctoral Programme that this Documentary Support Report stems from, these resources have been sufficient for any suitable candidate to successfully complete their doctoral thesis.
In addition to the Central University Libraries, which have more than three million volumes and which are subscribed to more than 20,000 journals, the centres where the research teaching activity will take place also have their own libraries where doctoral students can consult or borrow any of the volumes available at universities or request journal articles through their websites. Research teams also have small regular use journal libraries in their research lines and an extensive collection of conference reports and doctoral thesis of recent years.
