The specificities of the doctoral training are perfectly suited to the collaborative and interactive environment provided by the Internet. From the start, the proposed inter-university doctorate will have the technical resources and the support of the web page created by the Endesa Chair of the University of Seville in 2008. http://catedrasempresa.esi.us.es/endesared/index.php The main asset of the above web page is the so-called Classroom of Light, an audiovisual repository for all the seminars, courses and technical conferences organized by the Chair since its creation, as well as doctoral theses and other interesting technical documentation, such as e-books. Within the context of the proposed doctoral program, all the training activities of various kinds scheduled each year by the Academic Committee will be accessible via this platform, which has already been visited by around 10,000 people from all over the world. University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU): The Department of Electrical Engineering has a postgraduate classroom which can seat 24 people and a computer classroom. As additional work spaces there is a meeting room and a hall/library. University of Seville: The Higher Technical School of Engineering. The Department of Electrical Engineering. Polytechnic University of Catalonia: Library and Documentation Service. The University has 13 libraries spread over the UPC campus, with long opening hours and easy access. All the libraries provide the university community with a wide range of services, such as book loans, access to collections in paper and electronic format, spaces with computers, spaces for individual work and group work and laptop loans. The libraries have increasing information resources in electronic format, which can be viewed via Bibliotécnica (http://bibliotecnica.upc.edu/es/), the Digital Library of the UPC. In addition, there is the UPCommons (http://upcommons.upc.edu/?locale=es), a free-access portal to knowledge at the UPC, consisting of a set of institutional depositories with doctoral theses and final-year work, scientific documents generated in the research activities of the research personnel and teaching materials related to the academic production of the University.
