This project is a continuation of the improvements in the design of power supply equipment and pulse transformers used in linear accelerators for the application of proton therapy in medical treatments. In particular, construction techniques for high-performance transformers (pulse and high-frequency and high-power transformers) will be investigated, as well as the behavior of high-voltage MARX converters.
