This project aims to obtain differential technology and products for communications in critical environments with high bandwidth communications requirements. Currently, digitization and unification of communications networks are two widespread trends that have a major impact across aerospace, automotive, and defense industries. Convergence to Ethernet is another critical factor in all these sectors.
Specifically, a FPGA-SoPC based technology platform will be developed and validated at the laboratory level to address the future needs of critical applications in Advanced Communications over Ethernet.
