Jon Mikel Luzarraga Martin
Jon Mikel Luzarraga is a Pedagogue, Social Educator, Doctor in Educational Sciences and assistant professor in the Department of Didactics and School Organization of the UPV/EHU, where he teaches mainly in the degrees of Pedagogy and Social Education. His training is complemented with a Master's Degree in Multilingualism in Education.
Her main line of research is related to school effectiveness and improvement, in which she has developed her doctoral thesis, published several articles, participated in conferences, as well as a stay at the University of Hawaii at Manoa (USA).
She has participated in national projects, such as the one funded by the MICCIN, called MINECOG14/27, "Longitudinal and contextualized study of schools of very high and very low effectiveness: design of school improvement actions" and international, which highlights the one framed within the European call Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions, called CybSpeed H2020-MSCA-RISE-2017, project in which she has made stays in various institutions in Greece and Bulgaria.
In parallel, she actively participates in various groups and commissions together with other Universities and Professional Colleges, developing projects, initiatives and actions inside and outside the university, in order to improve the profession of Social Education.
She is a member of the Auzo Lan Hezkuntzan (ALHE) team since 2022.
