The objective of this project of APERT research group in the present project is to identify advanced solutions of power converters that meet the needs of the photovoltaic solar application, by investigating the different alternatives at the level of conversion topologies, design optimization of WBG semiconductor power modules, optimization of WBG semiconductor driving technologies, as well as advanced refrigeration research for power converters. All this by pursuing the increase in efficiency and power density of the converters to be used, as well as their robustness.
