Garazi Ormazabal Arizkorreta
Garazi Ormazabal is a pre-doctoral researcher from UPV/EHU contracted within the "PIF UPV/EHU: 2021" call. In the area of Educational Innovation, her doctoral thesis is framed in the Eskola Txikiak (a similar concept to rural schools) in the Basque Country. Specifically, she is researching the pedagogical keys on which these schools are based. Her lines of interest are innovative methodologies, student empowerment and research carried out with minors. In terms of training, as well as having a degree in Primary Education and a specialization in Special Education, she has a Master's Degree in Research in Socio-educational Areas. In her professional career, she has experience in formal education, as a primary school teacher, and in non-formal education, as a leisure time monitor. Currently, within the Etorkizuna Eraikiz proposal, created by the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, she participates in the project called "The pedagogical legacy of the school of Gipuzkoa".
