CV summary

She has a degree in Psychology (2005) and PhD (2022) from the University of the Basque Country, defending her doctoral thesis called The segregated school and its consequences for children's development. In favor of the protection of students at risk of psychosocial vulnerability. Child and youth psychotherapist (University of Barcelona, UB, 2010) and General health Psychologist (Basque Government, 2013). As a psychotherapist she has worked in the field of child abuse and neglect for 15 years. She has also given training courses related to child abuse and neglect. She has been a lecturer at the University of the Basque Country since 2016. In the period 2016-2018 she has been a lecturer in the Department of developmental and Educational Psychology, in the Faculty of Education and Sport (University of the Basque Country). From 2018 to the present she teaches courses in the area of Developmental and Educational Psychology in the department of Basic Psychological Processes and their Development at the Faculty of Psychology (University of the Basque Country). She also teaches on two master's degrees (Master's Degree in Early Childhood Care and Master´s Degree in General Health psychology). Her research interests are related to socio-emotional child and youth development; child and youth neglect; prevention and intervention in child and youth development; school segregation; school; inclusive education and human rights.
