Euskotramos Supplements

The UPV/EHU periodically values the activity of its T&R to assign additional remunerative supplements, also known as “Euskotramos”. The university-company transfer activities that Euskoiker processes carry points within the research section (up to 45 points) and are currently (September 2010) valued in the following way:

Research projects with companies:
- Minimum amount: €20,000 for research projects equivalent to 2 points in the table.
- Maximum amount: €300,000 for research projects equivalent to 30 points in the table.
- The allocation of points from the minimum amount is proportional to these figures (€40,000 is 4 points, €90,000 is 9 points, €200,000 is 20 points, etc.).
- In principle, projects of an amount less than €20,000 are not taken into account, although the corresponding board may decide to apply another measure (such as adding together the total amount of several projects).
Carrying out reports:
- Minimum amount: €12,000 for reports equivalent to 1 point in the table.
- Maximum amount: €240,000 for reports equivalent to 20 points in the table.
- The allocation of points from the minimum amount is proportional to these figures (€24,000 is 2 points, €96,000 is 8 points, €216,000 is 18 points, etc.).
- In principle, projects of an amount less than €12,000 are not taken into account, although the corresponding board may decide to apply another measure (such as adding together the total amount of several projects)
