In today's complex society, fundamental rights are an important concern both because of their level of violation in multiple areas and because of the need to restitute these violated rights. All this is evident in the national and international context affecting very different aspects in public policies.

The Master's Degree in Fundamental Rights and Public Powers responds to the demand for in-depth training in human rights for professional practice.

The master's degree has a research purpose in matters aimed at achieving greater validity and realization of fundamental rights taking into account the different instruments of judicial protection of these rights.

To this end, it deals with the analysis of the legal regime of public services provided by the different Administrations for the satisfaction of fundamental rights, the social policies developed by the public authorities and the specific instruments of judicial protection that have been developed at the international, European and internal level.

In addition, the impact that the rise of new technologies has had on fundamental rights, such as the impact on the right to privacy, the inviolability of the home and the secrecy of communications, among others, is worked on. The Master's Degree in Fundamental Rights and Public Powers has an annual duration, although the possibility of doing it in two courses is offered, in order to facilitate its realization to those who work. Professors from various European Universities, specialists in the field, participate.
