My research concerns two main areas: i) Philosophical and sociological analysis of energetic technologies and social movements; and ii) Relationships between engineering, education and technology. I have some research experience in policy areas too, including social capital in relation with intellectual capital, energy policy, and government local planning.

My work has been funded by organisations in Chile and Europe, such as the European Comission (7th Framework Program), National Commission of Science and Technology of Chile, the Foundation Boix i Gimpera of the University of Barcelona, and the Basque Government.
