Administrative aspects

1. Documents of acceptance

After completing the nomination procedure in your university of origin and once your mobility application has been accepted by the UPV/EHU, you should send the document Learning Agreement for Studies, using the following forms.

The deadlines are as follows:

  • For students enrolled for the first semester or full year: 30 June.

  • For students enrolled for the second semester: 30 November.

Places for clinical practices at hospitals, clinics and health centres are limited and they have a high demand. To prevent problems in assigning the places we recommend that the coordinators in the countries of origin send the nominations.

To correctly draft the Learning Agreement, the student should consult the syllabus,  since it should be as similar as possible to that which they wish to study at the UPV/EHU (only minor modifications are allowed at the start of each term/semester).

2. Acceptance by the Faculty of Medicine and Nursing and registering of the student in the GAUR platform

After receiving the initial documents, the student will receive an email with instructions to submit their information in our students’ management platform: GAUR.

After receiving the initial documents, the coordinator will forward them to our Mobility Secretariat, and the student will receive an email with instructions for entering their information in our student management program: GAUR.

This must include repatriation and Civil Liability clauses that cover all academic activities (minimum coverage of 50.000 €).
(If you are interested in consulting information about the IBILI-EHU insurance you can do it here: https://www.ehu.eus/es/web/kontratazioa/ibili-ehu)
