Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy
Philosophy looks at human beings in all their dimensions. It reflects on knowledge, truth, beauty, mind and language. It is a living and flexible discipline, as it focuses on the issues that matter to people in their time. For example, it currently deals with ethics in science (euthanasia, cloning), with corporate-social-responsibility and with integration conflicts. Current society has a need for philosophers.
The Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy will train students to develop a critical and argued view of the various aspects of human experience and activity. Students will also learn to analyse those problems that science has no proper answer for.
Students will have the chance of applying to voluntary internships that will provide them with the opportunity to see specific practical fields where philosophy can make a significant contribution.
