Patxi Juaristi Larrinaga (patxi.juaristi@ehu.eus) es profesor titular del Departamento de Ciencia Política y de la Administración en la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y de la Comunicación. En el curso 1998/1999 fue profesor visitante en la Universidad de Idaho (EEUU). Entre los años 2005 y 2009 fue Director de Universidades del Gobierno Vasco. Desde 2009 hasta el 2016 ha sido miembro del Comité de Ética para la Investigación con Seres Humanos de la UPV/EHU. También ha sido miembro de la Comisión de Calidad de la Escuela de Máster y Doctorado de la UPV/EHU (2016-2017). Ha publicado numerosos artículos así como 15 libros sobre la cultura vasca, los valores de los vascos, el euskera y las lenguas en general. También ha investigado y publicado libros y artículos sobre temas relacionados con la Guerra Civil y la memoria histórica. Ha dirigido o codirigido 8 tesis doctorales. Es Académico Correspondiente de Euskaltzaindia. Real Academia de la Lengua Vasca (2012). Desde el 2017 al 2020 fue Vicerrector de Campus de Bizkaia de la UPV/EHU.

 

Patxi Juaristi Larrinaga (patxi.juaristi@ehu.eus) is a Ph.D. graduate professor in the Department of Political Science and Administration at the UPV/EHU. In the course 1998/99, he was a visiting professor at the University of Idaho (USA). From 2005 to 2009, he was Director of Universities of the Basque Government. From 2011 to 2012, he was the coordinator of the Master of Government and Political Research and, since 2016, is the coordinator of a postgraduate degree on Linguistic Planning organized by the university and Asmoz. From 2009 to 2017 he was a member of the board of UPV/EHU`s Ethics Committee of issues related to research with humans. He has also been a member of the Master's and Doctor's Board of quality (2016-2017). He has published several articles and 15 books on Basque culture, Basque values, and Basque language. He has also researched and published books and articles related to the Civil War and historical memory. He has been the director or co-director of eight PhD thesis. Is member of the Royal Academy of the Basque Language (Euskaltzaindia). Between 2017 and 2020 he has been the vice-chancellor of the Biscay Campus at the UPV/EHU.

  • Euskal nortasuna(k) XXI. mendera begira: 2050 helburu: Eusko Ikaskuntzaren baitan egiten ari garen ikerketa honen helburua zera da: XXI. mendeko Euskal Autonomi Erkidegoko, Nafarroako Foru Komunitateko eta Ipar Euskal Herriko herritarren nortasun plural, kohesionatzaile eta integratzaile berrituaren eraikuntzarako oinarriak proposatzea. Ikerketa 2022an hasi zen eta 2024an bukatuko da.
  • Identidad(es) vasca(s) en el siglo XXI: objetivo 2050: Esta investigación promovida por Eusko Ikaskuntza quiere responder a las siguientes preguntas:¿Qué es, hoy en día, la identidad vasca? ¿En qué evolucionará la identidad vasca en el futuro? ¿Cuáles son los elementos que utilizamos para construir la identidad vasca? ¿Y los agentes? ¿Cómo ha cambiado la identidad vasca? ¿Cómo es el futuro de la identidad vasca? ¿En qué estrategias y propuestas debe basarse la identidad colectiva vasca del futuro?
