We created Bioengineering and Resuscitation (BioRes) in 2015, and we are currently 10 researchers in the group. Our main research line is the application of digital signal processing and machine learning to the data gathered in the pre-hospital setting by the emergency medical systems. In particular, we focus on improving treatment of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.
Since 2019 BioRes is recognized as a research group in the Basque Science System, as a type A (excellent) group with financing. We also have stable financing from the R&D program of the Spanish Ministry of Science Innovation and Universities.
