SUPREN research group has organized the 4th International Symposium on the Catalysis for Clean Energy and Sustainable Chemistry (CCESC 2018). The conference was hold at the Engineering School of Bilbao, from 9th to 11th of July. More than 100 scientists from 16 different counties have participated, presenting 81 different communications. The spirit of this International Symposium was organizing a worldwide encounter between scientists and industrialists with interest in the technological aspects of application of catalysis to the sustainable development.

This symposium has helped to review the present state of the art of these technologies and to discuss the possible future directions of their evolution, and of course, how they can revert positively in the development of the society.
