This is an interdisciplinary research group that has worked in the recent years with the aim to investigate the social, economic, political, institutional, cultural and ideological changes which occurred in the Basque country in the XIV-XVIII centuries. The research team includes historians of the Middle Ages and early modern age with different expertise. The research team also includes historians of the language and literature who are familiar with the analysis of primary sources, chronicles and literary production in medieval and early modern ages. All of the historians have vast experience in the research of medieval and early modern primary sources of the Basque country.
