I got the degree in biochemistry in 2010, where I joined the lab of Prof. Fernando Unda with an fellowship from the basque government. Over 2011, I completed my master thesis in the medicine faculty of UPV/EHU with a felowwship from Gangoiti foundation. Finally, in 2012 I got a doctorate fellowship from UPV/EHU, to defend the pHD in basque language. My thesis project is entitled: "Functions of Delta-like proteins in salivary gland development and tumorigenesis". DLK proteins are regulators of the Notch signaling pathway. We use salivary gland organotypic cultures, together with different reagents affecting Notch activity or innervation.  We are currently preparing an article with these results.
