Summary

Ugaitz Gaztelu Onaindia is a senior architect specialized in the Sustainable Rehabilitation of the Built Heritage by the UPV/EHU (2017).

In his training he also holds the master's degree in Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies from the CAT of UEL (2011), the UPV/EHU in Restoration and Comprehensive Management of Built Heritage (2012) and the Ph.D. in Sustainable Architectural Rehabilitation (2017). He is currently part-time Professor of the Construction Area of the Mechanical Engineering Department of Bilbao and co-founder of View Architecture and Research, S.P.Coop.

Its main line of research is the energy efficiency and comfort of current construction. From patrimonial valuation studies to parametric calculations for optimal energy intervention in the building.
