Professor at the Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao (UPV/EHU), Construction Engineering area.

BSc (2008) in Engineering at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), MSc on Advanced Materials Engineering (2012), Industrial Engineering PhD in 2016,

In the period 2008/2011, she worked at different construction companies developing structural calculation and project development. In the 2011/2012 academic year she obtained a predoctoral scholarship from the Technological Centers Foundation -Iñaki Goenaga attached to the Tecnalia center within the Sustainable Construction division. In 2012 started as professor at UPV/EHU and in 2015 joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering (UPV/EHU, Construction Engineering area since 2017).

Her line of research is oriented toward the rehabilitation and adaptation of built environment to face climate change impact. The aim is to enhance the resilience of built environment through sustainable development. For this purpose, different solutions (at building level and at urban level) and their impact (on citizens and environment) will be simulated and evaluated.
