International PhD with distinction (2017), Civil Engineering (2013), MSc on Construction Engineering (2012), BSc (2010) in Technical Engineer of Public Works at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU).

After ending her studies, she was working for one year in the construction firm, Bermeosolo S.A. Moreover, as part of the Master’s in Construction Engineering, she undertook practices in the firm Tecnalia Research and Innovation. In 2013, start working in the University of Basque Country as PhD researcher. In 2017 started working in the Department of Mechanical Engineering as Lecturer.

As an engineer, she has always felt the responsibility of finding solutions, through her research, to the problems that society presents. Aligned with her qualification, since the start of her scientific career, she has worked on bringing a green tinge to the construction sector; principally centered on the recovery of waste, and committed to the circular economy. She works with cement-based materials and over the past years, she has focused on the rehabilitation sector.
