In this paper a reflection on the significance that conflict processes acquire in the psychological development of human beings is elaborated. These processes are considered as an inherent and constitutive element of human development in its phylogenetic and ontogenetic dimensions. The educational implications of conflict dynamics are analyzed and their most negative aspects are pointed out.
