Presentation
I have a degree in Sociology from the University of Barcelona, a master's degree in Statistics and Operations Research from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and a PhD in Public Health from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. I have combined teaching with scientific research in several research groups in Public Health and Occupational Health. My main scientific contributions include publications in the field of working and employment conditions as social determinants of health.
She currently works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Research in Occupational Health (CISAL). I have two main lines of research, the first focuses on the impact of work and employment conditions (essentially psychosocial risks and precariousness) on the health of working people, according to gender and social class. The second in the study of the relationship between extreme temperatures, work and health.
Teaching
I currently teach in the degrees of Medicine and Labor Relations at the Pompeu Fabra University, in subjects related to Epidemiology. Regarding postgraduate teaching, she participated in the Master of Public Health, the Master of Occupational Risk Prevention and the residency training of Occupational Medicine, in subjects related to Statistics, Epidemiology and Occupational Health.
