Besides seminars and working space, our group uses two fully equipped laboratories to carry our organic synthesis. We have equipment such as:

• ATR IR spectrophotometer JASCO FT/IR-4100LE
• WATERS HPLC systems with diodo detectors (and several chiral phase columns)
• GC-MS System Agilent 7890A/5975C,
• digital polarimeter JASCO-P-2000,
• ozonator,
• Shaker hydrogenation apparatuses Parr 3911 (up to 5 bar),
• Immersion coolers HAAKE EK-90 (-40ºC to -100ºC)
• Microwave reactor CEM Discover Lab Mate (Mod. 908010)

Besides, the group has access to the Advanced Research Facilities (SGIker) of the UPV/EHU, including technical advice by specialized PhD technicians when needed. The selected equipments are located in the Faculty of Science and Technology, in the same building as our laboratory.

1. NMR Service: NMR Bruker AVANCE 500 Mz spectrometer and NMR Bruker AVANCE 300 Mz spectrometer (+ other 7  instruments in the other campuses)
2. Central Analysis Service. Bizkaia unit:
   • Euro EA Elemental Analyzer (CHNS),
   • Agilent Gas chromatograph/mass spectrometer QTOF (high resolution, exact mass),
   • Waters HPLC model 2685 XE-Quatro Micro mass spectrometer,
   • Ultrafast liquid chromatography UPLC Acquity Model Water-Mass Spectrometry Waters QTOF G2 model HDMSTM SYNAPTTM (exact mass and high resolution accurate ionization with ESI sources, ESCI, APCI and MALDI), etc.
3. X-Ray Service. Molecules and materials unit with two monocrystal diffractometers for samples in: Agilent Cu SuperNova and Mo SuperMova.
