Please, note:
- Residences usually offer modern, excellent facilities: monthly fees are hence usually higher than a shared flat
- Reservations and payment directly with the relevant residence
University of the Basque Country partner residences
Inscription for the upcoming academic year starts in April. By August, the list of admitted students is posted on the residence´s website. Whole year students have the priority to occupy vacancies; this means that if you travel to the UPV/EHU for only one semester, you may not be admitted.
Once admitted, pay close attention to the deposit refunding policy: a personal decision (lacking an academic factor) to leave the residence may not lead to a refund (deposits can go from 310 to 800 euros depending on the city and the length of stay).

- Application fee: €200 (refunded on the first month of stay)
- Deposit: €400 for 1-month to 3-month stays; €650 for 3-10 month stays
- Read carefully the deposit-refund policy: personal reasons to leave the residence, however justified, do not result in getting your deposit back
- Bedroom general fees do not include bills
- Campus of Biscay
- Blas de Otero in Central Bilbao (economy weekly & monthly stays for international students. Further details at helpcentre2.internacional@ehu.eus)
- Application fee: €200 (refunded on the first month of stay)
- Deposit: €500 for 1-month to 4-month stays; €800 for 4-10 month stays
- Read carefully the deposit-refund policy: personal reasons to leave the residence, however justified, do not result in getting your deposit back
- Bedroom general fees do not include bills
- Miguel de Unamuno in Deusto (limited availability: often fully booked several months before arrivals period)
- Blas de Otero in Central Bilbao (economy weekly & monthly stays for international students. Further details at helpcentre2.internacional@ehu.eus)
- Campus of Gipuzkoa: Manuel Agud Querol
- Application fee: €200 (refunded on the first month of stay)
- Non-selected candidates get their application fee back after September, 15th
- 1-semester visitors have fewer chances to be shortlisted among applicants
- List of admitted candidates published end of July-beginning of August
- Deposit: €400 for 1-month to 3-month stays; €770 for 3-10 month stays
