He is a Full Professor at the School of Engineering of Bilbao. After studying Industrial Engineering at the same School, he joined the ADM group while still a student in 1997. Within the group he developed his doctoral thesis. He lectures subjects related to numerical methods in engineering, structural dynamics, and mechanics in general. He is tutor of the Motostudent project of the School of Engineering of Bilbao. His lines of research are focused on the dynamics of solids, dimensional optimization of mechanisms, numerical methods for engineering and dynamics of two-wheeled vehicles.
