Carlos Angulo
In 1987 he obtained the title of Industrial Engineer specializing in mechanics at the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineers and Telecommunications in Bilbao. In 1991 after defending the doctoral thesis he obtained the title of Doctor Industrial Engineer. In 1988 he joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering as an associate teacher and in 1994 he obtained the position of tenured teacher of University. He currently lectures the subject of Elements of Machines in an undergraduate degree and the subject of Automobiles in a master. The main topics of his research work refer to: analysis by the finite element method, optimization techniques, genetic algorithms, computational fluid dynamics, simulation of the behavior of mechanisms and multibody systems, noise and vibration analysis, vehicle dynamics, study of wear in dies and improvement of the hot stamping process.
