Bachelor´s degree and PhD in Psychology from the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV/EHU). Assistant professor in the Department of Evolutionary Psychology and Education at the Faculty of Education and Sport. Coordinator of the departmental section of said faculty from the 2018-2019 academic year and member of the Academic Organization Commission. She also has 3 teaching publications.

Regarding her research work, she has recognized one period of 6 years on research work. She belongs to the consolidated Psikor research group (Group A of the Basque University System). She has participated in 3 national projects and 11 regional projects. She has been a visiting scholar at the University of Nevada (Reno). She currently co-directs two doctoral theses and has co-authored 22 scientific articles, 3 book chapters and more than 30 contributions in national and international congresses. Her line of research has focused on the social dimension of the self-concept. Recently, she has initiated a new line of research that focuses on the relationship between self-concept and school adjustment in adolescence, emphasizing the importance of both contextual variables (school climate, peer support, family, teachers), and intrapersonal variables (resilience, emotional intelligence…).

Before starting her academic career at the University, she worked as a as a school psychologist in several centers.
