Competencies

  • Applying theoretical knowledge in basic and advanced aspects of Project Management, including those captured in the academic bibliography and those presented in recent scientific articles.
  • Students will be able to clearly and accurately communicate, in English language, their newly-acquired knowledge to their professional peers and the scientific community in general, both orally and in writing.
  • Students will be able to develop standard Project Management methodologies for integrating techniques and tools, such as Scope, Time and Cost Management, Value Chain Management, and Risk and Uncertainty Management, which will develop their Leadership, Negotiation, Multidisciplinary Teamwork and Communication skills.
  • Students will be able to lead multinational and multidisciplinary projects, evaluating options and alternatives, which will involve assessing both efficiency and sustainability/social responsibility considerations, and collaborating with different types of organisations (administrations, companies, research centres, NGOs, etc.) with different cultures.
