Aggregate Professor of the Faculty of Education and Sports. Degree in Geography and History, and IVEF and Diploma in Teaching. He has a PhD in Psychodidactics and his research activity focuses on Student engagement, and the active methodologies that favor him (PBL-ABP, Cooperative Learning, Flipped Classroom, ...) and on Digital Technologies.
He teaches in the Master of Psychodidactics and in the Master's Degree in Secondary School Teacher Training. He has been a teacher for 15 years in Secondary and Primary, before entering the University of the Basque Country.
He is currently the Alava Coordinator of the Educational Advisory Service (SAE-HELAZ), responsible for the training of university teachers and the management of Educational Innovation Projects. He has been responsible for teaching the courses on the use of Moodle (2007-2010) and subsequently began as a tutor in the ERAGIN program in which teachers were trained in the application of the ABP-PBL Methodology (development in both problem-based learning , such as Project-based Learning during the 2009-2015 courses). Since 2017 he teaches the FOPU courses of MeTak, EGINKLIK and DOITU (Active Teaching Methodologies and New Technologies).
He has directed a Doctoral Thesis. It belongs to PSIKOR the reference research group in the field of studies related to Psycho-Didactics at the national level. He has published 10 JCR articles, 5 SJR and 15 other articles in non-indexed journals. Likewise, he has published 5 book chapters
