Asier Huegun Burgos (Lasarte-Oria, 1975), I am an associate professor in the Department of Didactics and School Organization. I graduated in Pedagogy and obtained a PhD at the University of the Basque Country in 2004 with the doctoral thesis: Hezitzaileen prestakuntza esperientziala: aisialdiko hezitzaileen harreman-trebetasunak lantzeko proposamen bat.

My professional career began in non-formal education projects, and I worked for several years in the processes of dynamization and training of the relational skills of the educators. In this sense, I have collaborated with a large variety of projects, programs and institutions.

To this day, I teach the subject of Social and Cultural Dynamization in the Degree of Social Education and I am a teacher in the Master's Degree in Compulsory Secondary Education, and in the Master in Research in Socioeducative Fields. I have directed a thesis, and now I¨m co-director in two.

My lines of research are: body focus on learning processes and the formation of relational skills. These lines are being developed and deepened in the Ikasbizia research group together with colleagues Eider Gamboa and Pello Jauregi. We have presented several communications in congresses, besides publishing articles.

I have done several jobs in university management. I am currently coordinator of module V of the Degree in Social Education.
