Degree in Biology and Doctor by the UPV/EHU (2006). Since 2011 she has been teaching at the Faculty of Medicine and Nursing of the UPV/EHU, mainly in the subjects of Cellular Biology and Genetics and Developmental Biology in the Degree of Medicine. She has participated in different research projects developed at the UPV/EHU, the University of Tokyo, CICbioGUNE and the National Cancer Center Research Institute (NCCRI) in Tokyo. His research activity focuses on the processes involved in tumour development and metastasis, including the importance of tumour glycosylation, the involvement of gene expression regulatory molecules such as miRNAs and RNA binding proteins and the secretion of exosomes.
