Master Thesis | 10 | -- |
Methodology
The Master's Degree consists of classroom sessions, seminars and tutored works. Classroom sessions have both a theoretical and a practical character, and maximum participation by students is sought. Some of the classes, related to work with development indicators, will be held in IT classrooms to enable students to BECOME familiar with the most commonly used programs for statistical calculation and constructing indicators.Seminars are programed with a monographic character, and are aimed at analyzing specific themes related to the subjects taught in the Master's Degree. These themes are dealt with by specialists in the areas concerned, and are generally held jointly for the students of Globalization and Development and the Master's Degree in Development and International Cooperation.Tutored works are of two types. On the one hand, those that are carried out in the framework of each subject, which are oriented and assigned by the faculty in charge of the subject. And on the other, the end of Master's Degree Works, directed by a professor from the Master's Degree assigned by the Academic Committee, according to the themes proposed by students. It is also necessary to indicate the importance given to the use of the UPV/EHU's virtual platform, where orientations are given to students, works are distributed, lectures and materials are posted, and communication takes place between the faculty, students and the management of the Master's Degree.Assessment
While each subject can involve different assessment procedures according to the characteristics of the themes taught and the work methodology predominantly used by the faculty, the mechanisms used to assess the students' knowledge are as follows:* Participation and interest shown in class* Preparing individual and group works* Classroom expositions* Carrying out practical exercises* Supplementary examinations set by the faculty- Number of credits ECTS : 10
