- Being able to read, summarize or transcribe historical documents in an appropriate form.
- Communication skills: students will be able to communicate their scientific knowledge and arguments to specialist and non-specialist publics in a clear and ordered form, both orally and in writing.
- Critical reasoning and the capacity to analyze, synthesize and interpret the problems and processes of Contemporary History: students will be able to integrate knowledge and formulate propositions on the basis of the available information.
- Demonstrating deep knowledge of the different methodological approaches and historical tendencies related to the Contemporary Age.
- Familiarity with the main fields of current research in the different branches of Contemporary History.
- Motivation to seek quality and constant improvement to obtain results of excellence.
- Self-learning ability: students will acquire skills that enable them to further develop their understanding of Contemporary History.
- Skill in using the new communication technologies for learning, understanding and assimilating the teaching content (both theoretical and practical) of the Master's course, as well as for obtaining relevant information.
- Writing essays or syntheses with a historiographical character, as well as research works, using the particular language and rules of scientific communication.
