Industrial Engineer (2002) and PhD in Mechanical Engineering (2013) from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Lecturer (2003) and Associate Professor (2014) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at UPV/EHU. He has taught subjects in the Degree of Civil Engineering and the Master of Building Enginneering. As for the research, he belongs to the Research Group SAREN “Sultainable and Resilient Built Environment” from the Basque Government. The research activity is focused on the study of the structural behavior of sustainable materials used for Civil Engineering solutions. He has participated in several research projects funded by Spanish and Basque Government. He is the co-author of 13 scientific articles in journals which are included in the Journal Citation Report.
