Ana Picallo Pérez has a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Basque Country and a PhD thesis in Energy Efficiency and Sustainability in Engineering and Architecture at the Faculty of Engineering of Bilbao, UPV/EHU (2019).
His research lines are related to dynamic energy systems in buildings and thermo-economic application in buildings for diagnostic and maintenance purposes. She has been working at the University of the Basque Country since 2015: first, as a researcher with a PIC contract, then with a researcher grant to obtain a PhD, and currently, as an assistant professor. She has made 3 stays abroad (Berlin, Padova and Palermo) and has published 22 articles, most of them in JCR journals, 1 book and has participated in 2 autonomous research projects and in 15 national and international congresses; she is also involved in 2 R&D&I projects funded through competitive calls from public or private entities.
