My main research line is the analysis of vulnerability and resilience of forest ecosystems to disturbances and stressors associated to global change. Management actions and strategies for forest ecosystems adaptation to climate change and the study of ecological mechanisms underlying species abundance and coexistence patterns are my secondary research lines. My research encompasses multiple and variable approaches including observational data, greenhouse experiments, bibliographic reviews, forest historical archives, national forest inventories and ecological modeling. I have published 18 papers in journals indexed in the Science Citation Index Expanded, with an h-index of 13, and one book per chapters where I acted as the main editor. I have supervised 7 end-of-degree projects and 8 master’s thesis and have been teaching at university level for more than three years.
