Degree in Biology (UPV/EHU). PhD in Biology (Univ. of Barcelona, IPE-CSIC, Univ. of Colorado Boulder).MSc. in Bioinformatics and Biostatistic (UOC-Univ. Barcelona).

My research hinges on the study of spatio-temporal distribution of multiple facets of diversity, namely taxonomic, functional and phylogenetic diversity. I combine field data and quantitative approaches to elucidate the long-term response of plant populations and communities to land-use changes and climate warming. I am involved in the design and monitoring of endangered species.

Besides research, I developed apps and pipelines devoted to make biodiversity analyses as accessible as possible to other researchers and stakeholders.
