Dr. Martínez Gayoso is Senior Lecturer of Labour and Social Security Law at the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea and Territorial Responsible for the management of the Preco at the Labour Relations Council/Lan Harremanen Kontseilua.

Her preferred areas of research, in which she practices professionally, have been in the field of Trade Union Law, from her doctoral thesis related to the right to collective bargaining of civil servants and the autonomous settlement of collective disputes (2002), to her incorporation, in special services, from 2009 to the present, to the Labour Relations Council to manage the Basque autonomous system of collective labour dispute resolution known as “Preco”.
