2. Software design patterns

3. Design and development of a software project.

4. Software testing

MethodologyToggle Navigation

All classes will be taught in the Department's laboratories.

The students will have to design, develop and test in team a complete software in practical classes, based on the theoretical concepts of the lectures.

Assessment systemsToggle Navigation

A continuous evaluation system is used. To this end, a set of tests and evaluation activities will be carried out throughout the training period.

The grade of the student who follows the continuous evaluation system will be obtained as a result of the following activities:

1. Carrying out practices (exercises, cases or problems) in class: 25%. This activity is mandatory, that is, it is necessary to complete it and obtain a minimum grade of 4 to pass the subject.

2. Teamwork (design, development and presentation of a project): 65%. Since part of the team work will be done during class hours, the grade of each team member will be weighted based on their class attendance. Likewise, the weight of the participation of each component of the team in the preparation and presentation of the project will be taken into account.

a) Report of the developed project: 50%. The official date established for the call for the subject exam will be set as the deadline for the delivery of the report on the developed project. This activity is mandatory, that is, it is necessary to complete it and obtain a minimum grade of 5 to pass the subject.

b) Public exhibition of the developed project: 15%. On the last day of class there will be a public exhibition of the project developed throughout the course, and a demonstration of its operation will be carried out. This activity is mandatory, that is, it is necessary to complete it and obtain a minimum grade of 5 to pass the subject.

3. Attendance and use of classes and participation: 10%.

Students who wish to waive continuous evaluation must do so in accordance with the procedure and deadlines established in Article 8.3 of the UPV/EHU Student Evaluation Regulations. In that case, on the official day of the subject exam, 100% of the subject must be examined, with the following tasks:

1. Exercises, cases or problems: 35%. This activity is mandatory, that is, it is necessary to complete it and obtain a minimum grade of 4 to pass the subject.

2. Delivery of the report of the developed project: 50%. This activity is mandatory, that is, it is necessary to complete it and obtain a minimum grade of 5 to pass the subject.

3. Public exhibition of the developed project: 15%. This activity is mandatory, that is, it is necessary to complete it and obtain a minimum grade of 5 to pass the subject.
