David Salvador Sanz Sanchez is a Naval and Oceanic Engineer and PhD student at the University of Cantabria, Naval Constructions area. He teaches in the Department of Navigational Sciences and Techniques and Naval Construction of the Higher Technical School of Nautical Engineering - University of Cantabria (2020-present), as a research professor.

Member of the Biofouling Research Group, whose work has been presented at more than 7 international conferences and in 3 high impact international journals (JCR). He has participated in several collaborative projects with companies.
