Presentation
The Institute for Social History Valentín de Foronda is a university institution set up in 1995 with the aim of promoting research and debate on History and for the publication of its results. The Institute promotes research groups, administer grants and research funds, organizes congresses, seminars and symposia and also fosters researchers from the institutions. It also holds relationships with other similar institutions from Spain and abroad.
The Institute for Social History Valentín de Foronda is a mixed University Institute supported by the University of the Basque Country the Provincial Government of Álava and the City of Vitoria-Gasteiz.
